K so been back in dunedin home for a week now. I have been biking most places but have been using my car still but most times i use my car there is at least 1 other person in it. I relised when i went shopping that there was no way that i was going to be able to buy organic or free range food so i decided was that i was going to cut back on my takeaways. I think this is much more of an achievable goal as i do buy a lot of takeaways and not buying any will save me money.

Power wise i dont know yet as bill hasn't come but i don't think it is going to be good. Found the heat pump on again at 26 degrees and no one was in the lounge so organising a flat meeting to talk about it. So yea thats about it

Some Pics from Our Adventures

So just so you can all see what weve been up to in 2008 thus far...

So Hawea was our first mission, lots of fun was had despite the rain! Camping behind the pub ensured a warm place to dry our outsides and wet our insides after a long days paddling.

The next weekend we headed to the amazing Mavora lakes.

The following weekend we headed the Tekapo slalom course for our own scheduled release. We were greeted by amazing weather!

Great times and more stories to be told yet!

OUCC is on the Net!

So its been a long time coming but we are now on the Internet. We will aim to keep all you guys up to date on whats going on.

First thing is that we have our annual Keg and Cheese coming up on Friday the 16th of May, the theme is "Invent your own Super Hero"!! Imagination is key! Drinks will kick off around 7pm. The venue is 122 Harbour Tce.

As you all know the paddling has slowed now on acount of the cold weather. Those who are still keen for paddling will be all signed up and ready to get into the Dunedin Canoe Polo competition which starts this Sunday night.
